FLORAL DESIGN
Where do we start?
You don’t have to know anything about flowers when you contact us. After an introductory call about the details of your event, Ashley Fox will have a vision of the flowers that will best capture your style to fit the season and location of your event.
Do you travel for destination events?
Yes. We create events out of state each year and are based in Woodbury, MN.
How much should we allot for flowers?
Each event is unique and each client’s floral selection is different, but flowers generally make up 10 - 15% of the overall event budget.
How far in advance should we book you?
Our clients book with us after they’ve selected their venue and have an approximate guest count - generally anywhere from 6 - 12 months out. We work closely with each client and fully immerse ourselves in the selection of blooms and design for each event. Our studio creates around 15 events per year to grant enough time in between events for pre-production and planning.
How does the booking process work?
Email us from the contact page and expect a reply from us within 1-3 business days. From there we will arrange a call to listen to your floral vision for your event day. Ashley Fox will create a proposal for you based on a free one-hour consultation. Once you approve the proposal and budget, you’re ready to sign a contract and pay a deposit to save your date. Once you’ve paid your deposit, Ashley will provide visual examples, a seasonal flower selection and design ideas for key flower spaces.

EVENT DESIGN
What is an event design deck and why would it be helpful for my wedding?
An event design deck serves two purposes; representing inspiration and actualized ideas for your event. It provides concepts, serves as a hub of information and is a visual, decision-making touchstone.
A deck will provide a visual reference for your event concept, design, layout, form and function. It is an extremely useful tool when curating how an event will look and feel. A design deck relieves the stress often felt when making decisions in the planning process. No two decks are ever the same from our studio. We pride ourselves on new concepts and fresh ideas for your event. Is an event design deck from Ashley a separate price from a floral order?
Yes. Event design and floral design are two separate services our studio offers clients, event planners and anyone who would like a reference point to work from when planning the details and style of their event or editorial. You do not need to be a floral client of our studio to request event design services from us. Design clients receive a multipage design deck of everything starting with color palette, flowers and invitations, maids gowns and lounge furniture, table settings and everything in between. Is event design a planning service?
Event design is a style guide only. We provide vendor suggestions along with our design decks but do not contact the vendors directly or coordinate them for your event. This is the job of a trusted, wedding coordinator.
