Spring Bouquet Workshop
I have the hardest time editing down the images I post for these workshops. The beauty the visiting students created is too good to miss. They each created two bouquets. The first, a more classic size and shape. The second, a more dramatic and statement making design. We fit in a lot during these one day workshops: business conversation on consultations and ordering/buying, bouquet making techniques and a photo shoot to support each student's portfolio. Never a dull moment and never without incredible flowers. Special thanks to Amanda Nippoldt for these images. Her film photography and discerning eye captured these early spring flowers like nothing else. Also, to the students who came from Honeysuckle Hollow Florist and Alissa's Flower Farm. What an amazing group of women who love flowers as much as I do.
I'm already looking forward to next year's workshop. We are planning on doing a two day course around the same time next year with emphasis on all of the above with the inclusion of arbor construction, all followed by a photo shoot on the second day. Of course we take requests! If there is something you have been wanting to learn we would love to gear our plan in that direction.
